Dave and Finn stormed to victory on Britain's Got Talent last night as their mind-reading act won the hearts of the judges and the votes from the public.
The duo obtained the highest number of votes from the public and sailed straight through to the final . They will be joined by Flakefleet Primary School, who were voted through by the judges over the Haunting.
But the policeman and his dog will go one step further next week, with Dave teasing a huge stunt.
Appearing on Lorraine today, Dave said that he had lots of rehearsals ahead of the final.
"We have lots of ideas bouncing around," he said. There's talk of helicopters and big bangs – so we'll see!"
Rosie & Adam, KNE, Akshat Singh, Brian Gilligan and Tony Rudd were all sent home after a very competitive semi-final.
Speaking about how Finn was after an exhausting night, Dave said: "He is pretty tired – it was a long day yesterday, he was shattered. We didn't expect to go through!"
The former copper said that it had been "amazing" to be on stage in front of thousands – including "four of the most famous people in the land".
Flakefleet managed to get a place in the final after being sent through by the judges.
The school's headmaster Dave McPartlin said: "Thank you – it's incredible. We're just showing kids to go for it and anything is possible."
When asked if it had sunk in, Dave said: "Definitely not. It's going to take a couple of ideas I think.
"We're coming up with some ideas. If we can just spread the message about these amazing dogs we've already won i think."
