Some TRS- Telangana Rashtra Samithi activists attacked Praja Shanthi Party founder president KA Paul at Jakkapuram village of Chinna Koduru mandal in Siddipet district. This incident took place on Monday in the presence of police. Praja Shanthi Party founder president was on his way to Sircilla as he was going to meet the farmers who incurred losses due to rains.
After hearing the news of his visit, number of TRS activists gathered at the village and stopped KA Paul from proceeding further. TRS activists also abused Paul in and not only this, one of the activists also slapped him on the face. Sircilla police prevented KA Paul from visiting the district and asked him to go back from Siddipet-Sircilla border.
On the otherside, when KA Paul was attempting to meet with DGP without an appointment, the police placed him under house arrest in Ameerpet, Hyderabad. The authorities believe that if Praja Shanthi Party founder president KA Paul comes out of his house with a complaint about this incident, the law and order situation will be jeopardised. On the otherside, DGP Mahendra Reddy is not in the office today because of Ramzan.
The reports are coming that till now KA Paul has not filed any complaint with the police on the attack.
