Producer and actor Bandla Ganesh, who was arrested in a check bounce case, has been sent to remand. Kadapa court has directed police to send accused Bandla Ganesh to remand till November 4.
A non-bailable warrant (NBW) was issued against Ganesh with regard to a check bounce case filed by one Mahesh from Proddutur who had filed case against Bandla that the latter had failed to keep his promise of repaying Rs 20 lakh.
Apparently, Bandla Ganesh has failed to attend the court in this case and the court has issued NBW against him. Banjara Hills, police who have arrested Bandla Ganesh on Wednesday, have presented him before Kadapa Magistrate on Thursday.
Earlier, Bandla Ganesh went to Banjara Hills police station to receive the notices of film producer and financier PVP who also alleged Bandla Ganesh of not repaying his debt. Banjara Hills police who learned about the Non-Bailable Warrant issued against Ganesh has taken him into custody and submitted him in Kadapa.
Ganesh’s arrest and subsequent remand has seen several twists like a movie script. More details are awaited. Ganesh, who is remand, is said to be trying for his bail.
