Stylish Star Allu Arjun who is one of the most popular stars of South Indian cinema, has started the shoot of his ongoing much anticipated movie Pushpa, which is being helmed by Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame. The shoot of Pushpa was delayed by several months due to coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown but finally the makers started shooting in the thick forest of Maredumilli in Andhra Pradesh from 10th November.
Sukumar’ directorial venture Pushpa revolves around the smuggling of red sandalwood. It is known news that initially the Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi was on the board to play the crucial role in Bunny starrer film but later he walked out from the project. Now the reports are coming that Sukumar approached Arya to play the key role in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa.
The sources say that the makers of Pushpa have approached Arya for Vijay Sethupathi role in Allu Arjun starrer. In the past both Bunny and Arya have worked together in Varudu.
Pushpa is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and has Muttamsetty Media as partners in the film which has the music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Meanwhile Arya will be seen in upcoming Tamil film Teddy and Hindi movie 3 Dev, which are in different production stages.
