Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. (AHEL) has reported a 32% growth in its standalone net profit for the first quarter ended June 2019 to ₹79.3 crore, aided by 18% growth in standalone pharmacies and 15% in healthcare services. The revenue grew 17% to ₹ 2,229 crore.
Healthcare grew 15% to ₹1,172 crore, aided by growth in surgical and cat1h lab volumes at both the older and the new hospitals, the firm said. “We have made a strong start to the fiscal to deliver steady growth in revenue and margins across all our verticals,” said chairman Prathap C. Reddy.
