VOTE! Dia Mirza’s BEST wedding look

Which is your favourite look from Dia Mirza’s wedding diaries?

Theia Tekchandaney, Dia Mirza’s friend and costume designer, took to Instagram to post different looks from Dia Mirza’s wedding and pre-wedding functions.

Sharing a pic of Dia’s mehendi function, Theia wrote: ‘This one comes straight from the heart!

‘My dearest Diu! I meant what I said in my speech, you truly are a special person put on planet earth to do special things!

‘Your quiet perseverance, and your strength and resolve are one of the many things I love and admire about you! Besties forever.’

Seen in the pic is Dia, dressed in lovely yellow traditional separates, getting mehendi applied on her hands.

Seated against a lovely backdrop of yellow and orange marigold (gende ka phool) flowers, Dia paints a stunning picture in the yellow and gold silhouette.

With a smile pasted on her face, and posing for the camera, Dia rounded off the look with a floral maang-tikkha.

Theia also shared another pic of Dia from one of her wedding functions.

Dia is seen posing for the pic, dressed in a custom-made, intricately hand-embroidered Anita Dongre anarkali.

She rounded off the pink traditional look with a gorgeous choker and jhootis by Fizzy Goblet.

Sharing a message for Dia, designer Anita Dongre wrote: ‘Your compassionate heart, your relentless passion for the environment and animals and your indomitable courage to stand up for what you believe in — you embody the Anita Dongre woman. ⁣

‘And as you step into this new chapter of your life, we wish you lots of love and laughter, and a beautiful ever after. Thank you for making us a part of your wedding festivities.⁣’

Dia married equity professional Vaibhav Rekhi in a beautiful ceremony in the garden of her Bandra, north west Mumbai, home on February 15.

Dressed in a Raw Mango Varanasi silk brocade sari, Dia took the pheraa with Vaibhav.

The sari featured floral barfi jaal with butaa. She paired the sari with a silk blouse and a customised organza odhani.
