‘Sonam Kapoor should stop overacting in film and overacting on twitter,’ says Vivek Oberoi over the actress’ ‘disgusting’ remark | Bollywood Life

While we are waiting with bated breath for the results of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, there are various memes surfacing the net and one of such meme which featured Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan along with Vivek himself was shared by the actor which earned him a backlash from various people from in and out of the industry. One of them to react to the same was Sonam Kapoor. The actress took to her Twitter account and replied to the meme shared by Vivek saying, “Disgusting and Classless.” And now Vivek has replied to Sonam’s remark. Have a look at Sonam’s tweet here:

The actor in an interview with ANI, took a jibe at Sonam saying some people do it to look cool on twitter. He revealed having read Sonam’s reaction to his tweet and then ask the actress what has she done for empowering women. He then went on to list all the things he along with various charities undertook to empower women in the society in the last 10 years. The actor said that he has been working on women empowerment for the past 10 years when Sonam was working on her makeover. He then gave her a piece of advice saying “Aap filmon me thoda kam overact kare aur social media pe kam over react kare.” (To stop overacting in films and overreacting on social media). Interestingly, Vivek is all set to play PM Narendra Modi’s character in his biopic which is all set to hit the silver screens this Friday. The meme shared by the actor on the exit poll, mocked Aishwarya, Salman and Abhishek. His tweet read: “Haha! creative!
