BFFs Owen Patrick Joyner and Charlie Gillespie walk in the boardwalk by the beach on Wednesday (January 18) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Julie and the Phantoms co-stars turned real life besties joined producer Kenny Ortega and choreographer Paul Becker for a day out in the South American city.
A few days before, they were all in attendance at Dream It Con in São Paulo, alongside co-stars Madison Reyes, Jadah Marie and Sacha Carlson.
While there, they actually met up with the stars of the original series, Julie e os Fantasmas, Fabio Rabello, Mariana Lessa, Bruno Sigrist and Marcelo Ferrari.

It was a wonderful coming together for the first time while also meeting and engaging with many of our Brazilian and International fans. Fans of the Netflix series are still rallying for the streamer to renew the show, or allow another network to pick it up. However, back in 2022, Kenny said there are no plans for the show to continue.
If you didn’t know, both Owen and Charlie have movies coming out. Owen will star in a musical, Something Here, with Gossip Girl star Savannah Smith, while Charlie will be starring in a new drama called Deltopia, with several other young stars.
