Mellow Rackz Allegedly Robbed at Gunpoint in L.A., Set Up by Her Own Security

According to a new report, the Young Money femcee, who has yet to comment on the matter, was ‘robbed and pistol whipped’ when she visited Los Angeles to meet a man for a date.

AceShowbizMellow Rackz was the latest artist to fall victim to a robbery. If a new report is to be believed, the Young Money artist reportedly was robbed at gunpoint when she visited Los Angeles to meet a man for a date.

Reporting the incident was SayCheeseTV. “Young Money’s artist Mellow Rackz was allegedly robbed & pistol whipped in LA after meeting a guy for a date,” the outlet stated on Tuesday, April 27. “Mellow & her security were ambushed at gun point & robbed for her jewelry & her bag with everything in it according to reports.”

The blog later shared a follow-up in a separate post. “UPDATE! Young Money artist Mellow Rackz who was robbed for all her jewelry in L.A says her own security set her up,” they added. In the caption, the blog claimed that despite the scary incident, the femcee is thankfully “doing fine [praying hands emoji].”

Neither the raptress nor her reps have yet to comment on the report. Los Angeles authorities, meanwhile, have issued warnings to people visiting the city as attacks, robberies and home invasions have been on the rise.

Last year, music icon Clarence Avant’s 81-year-old wife Jacqueline was shot and killed during a home invasion in their Beverly Hills home. When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found a victim with a gunshot wound but the suspect or suspects were no longer at the scene.

Jaqueline was transported to a local hospital by the Beverly Hills Fire Department paramedics but she did not survive, the police said. No one else was injured.

The killer, Aariel Maynor, later received 150 years in prison.
