Amy Day and Hugo Hammond have come to blows once more after virtually reuniting on Love Island: Aftersun.

The pair hit it off whilst in Casa Amor and 24 year old Hugo quickly locked lips with the brunette beauty before telling his fellow Islanders "job done" in triumph.

However, things took a turn when they came back to the main villa together as Hugo, 24, believed she changed while Amy thought he was keeping his distance.

After receiving the fewest votes from the public, their co-stars then booted them off the hit ITV dating programme alongside Clarisse Juliette, 24, and 23 year old Sam Jackson.

During their exit interviews, Hugo said his quest to find love was "tragic", leaving Amy wide-eyed, while the actress from Surrey later called him "fake" and said she was "messed around" by the star.

Now, the pair have reunited on Love Island: Aftersun, where Amy didn't hold back to launch a fresh attack on Hugo, calling him "terrible with women".

How Laura Whitmore, 36, kicked off the conversation as she asked: "Amy, how are ya?"

"Oh I'm cracking now to be out and away from Hugo, really," Amy replied as Hugo's eyes widened in disbelief.

Clearly feeling uncomfortable, Laura shuffled in her seat as she said: "Oh wow! Well we did see things got a little bit heated when you met up. Have you guys spoken since what we just saw?"

Amy said: "No, much to all your surprise," as Laura quipped: "I'm glad we're all here to witness it."

Laura went on to recap how the brunette beauty had said she came on to find something genuine before asking if she always wanted to get together with Hugo in Casa Amor.

"Literally, in the run up, I just had an open mind. I just wanted to walk in, everyone was attractive, so I just knew that any sort of feelings would be clear when I actually met all the lads," she said.

She continued to describe the moment she met Hugo as she explained it was almost an "instant connection" and it was clear to all that they got on.

"I think Hugo is terrible with women, I just don't think he knows what to say," Amy insisted after recalling he had quipped "job done!" following their kiss in Casa Amor.

Listening to all this, Hugo couldn't help but smile and say: "Wow…"

"To sum it up, Hugo says he wants to be true to himself. Can he not be true to everyone at the same time?" Amy then said in a fresh blow.

Laura then asked Hugo if there was anything he wanted to say to Amy, to which he replied: "Umm, I don't really know if I can you know, it makes me really sad that it's kind of got to this point and you feel this way.

"You know I don't agree with a lot of the stuff you're saying obviously but if that's the way you feel, that's the way you feel…"

Amy then said she regretted putting all her eggs in Hugo's basket as the crowd cheered her on.

Unable to take things lying down, Hugo then hit back and said she "wasn't into me from night one and I just felt like a green card to the villa".
