Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif along with the team of Bharat are aggressively promoting their film now that it’s nearing its release. In an interview for Bharat, Salman Khan has been voicing his disappointment over Priyanka Chopra’s sudden exit from the film. For those who are new to this news, the actress had been the initial choice for the lead opposite to Salman Khan. She walked out of the film days before the shoot was to begin in order to get married to beau Nick Jonas. This apparently, didn’t go down well with Salman Khan. And ever since, he has been expressing his disappointment in every interview for Bharat.

According to reports, Salman had said that while most actresses would have left their husbands and marriage had they got an opportunity to be in a film like Bharat. But Priyanka Chopra chose to quit the film for America (referring to her husband Nick Jonas, an American singer and songwriter). Salman Khan was slammed by many for his derogatory remarks. Recently, Katrina Kaif and the director of Bharat Ali Abbas Zafar recently went to promote their film in an interview with Rajeev Masand. The interviewer asked them both on their take about Salman’s comments on PeeCee.

Katrina Kaif thinks THIS job would be best suited for Salman Khan, and it;s not acting

The actress said that one has to know by now that Salman does it just for the effect and he does not mean it. “You have to take everything that Salman (Khan) says with a big bucket of salt. I think we all know that by now. He just says it for effect, he does not mean it. Sometimes, in interviews, I am biting my tongue like 5 times in a day, but it’s all in good fun. I don’t take it seriously,” Katrina Kaif told Rajeev.
