I’m A Celeb’s Ant and Dec accused by ITV fans of giving Frankie Bridge answers during trial

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left fuming as they accused hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly of "helping" Frankie Bridge during a trial.

Tuesday night's episode of the ITV series saw the former Saturdays singer strapped in a cage as she had offal, bad eggs, rotten fruit and vegetables poured over her as she was spun around and asked questions.

However, it appeared the 32 year old, who was snubbed as camp deputy, was getting plenty of help from the hosts – especially when they asked her to name ingredients for a Cornish pasty.

Repeatedly prompting Frankie, they probed: "Did you say swede?" – to which the singer claimed that she had.

However, fans at home were quick to note the unfair advantage Frankie was given.

One person tweeted: "No favouritism, of course, Ant & Dec @antanddec?? How much were you both Blatantly helping Frankie??"

Another said: "#ImACeleb That trial was pointless! Ant & Dec asked that woman Frankie the questions and then gave her the answers! Stupid!"

A third added: "Why the f*** did they help frankie out so much. They pick and choose who they want to do well. She wouldn't have got half of them without Ant & Dec's help #ImACeleb."

A fourth said: "Why did Ant & Dec help Frankie so much in that trial when they've been super unhelpful in every other trial this season? #ImACeleb

Frankie was also offered assistance as she was asked to name cheeses, with Ant informing her: "One's got a colour in its title."

She correctly answered "Red Leicester" before being aided further as she was asked: "How many fish fingers are eaten in the UK every day?"

Frankie was encouraged to go higher or lower with her number until she guessed correctly.

Following the tricky challenge, Frankie won a whopping seven stars for camp.

After coming out of the cage, Ant laughed and told Frankie: "So we've worked out your geography's bad, your spelling's not great, your maths is terrible, but you love a good curry."

Frankie laughed: "I do love a good curry. I've had a long time to think about food in here guys. Everyone's going to be so jealous. It looks like I've been on a massive night out."
