Holly, 40, rarely discusses her husband Dan Baldwin, who she married in 2008, apart from the occasional exception. Now, she has given fans an insight into their marriage behind closed doors as she made a startling revelation.

He’d pass in a glass of wine no matter what time of day it was

The mum-of-three has now hinted that television producer Dan, 46, is a practical joker once the happy couple closes their front door.

As the world descended into lockdown in March 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Holly used the video calling platform Zoom to keep in contact with loved ones as well as for work purposes.

However, she has now shared that Dan had attempted to trick the recipient of the call into believing that his wife enjoyed the odd glass of wine, regardless of the time.

Speaking on This Morning earlier today, Holly chatted with Chris and Rosie Ramsey about their decision to speak of their marriage on tour.

Sharing the tale of her husband’s prank, Holly said: “Do you know what Dan kept doing to me when we were doing Zoom calls?

“Obviously I would come back from work and he’d knock on the door and I’d go, ‘Oh sorry, hold on’ and open the door and he’d pass in a glass of wine no matter what time of day it was.”

She added: “So I would then have it and look back at the screen and be like, ‘Sorry he does this all the time’.

“And he’d go, ‘No, I don’t, you asked for it’, it was so annoying, he did it every time, no matter who I was talking to!”

Fellow host Phillip Schofield couldn’t contain his laughter as Chris Ramsey said: “I love it so much, that is brilliant.”

Holly and Dan met while she was appearing on Ministry of Mayhem back in 2004 – three years before the pair tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.

Since then, the couple have worked together on Celebrity Juice, while Dan has also worked on The IT Crowd, All Star Family Fortunes and Through The Keyhole.

During the first national lockdown in May 2020, Holly gave fans an insight into her Zoom calls with pals.

However, the snap she chose to share was far from a normal call as she appeared on screen alongside Emma Bunton and Nicole Appleton.

As the group smiled towards the camera, Holly captioned her post: “Oh I miss these faces so much… apart and yet totally connected… miss my girls… @ruby1kid @shishib @emmaleebunton #nikidemetz.”

Earlier this week, Holly announced a career move away from her regular role on This Morning.

In view of her 7 million Instagram followers, Holly announced that she will be releasing her debut book that she had been working on for some time.

Sharing her excitement, Holly said: “I’ve been working on a very special project – a book! Writing is such a personal process and between these pages, you will find many little pieces of me. The book is called Reflections and is essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty.

“We live in a world where so much is about how we present ourselves on the outside and there is fun to be had here but true beauty comes from within… there is an alignment that needs to happen and finding that balance hasn’t always felt so easy.”

She went on to add: “Now, I’m finally at a point in my life where I can see a little more clearly and I want to share my truths in the hope that maybe they’ll help you too.

“This book is my celebration of how inner and outer beauty can work together in perfect harmony. I hope this book will start conversations, whether they’re about how to find your signature lipstick, reclaim your sexuality, or treat yourself more kindly – and, ultimately, what it means to feel beautiful, confident, complete.”
