Sunil Grover will be soon seen as Vilayti in Salman Khan’s Bharat. It is a huge project for the actor who is best known as India as the crazy doctor Mashoor Gulati. The actor plays Salman Khan’s best friend in the film. He is there throughout. In an exclusive chat with BollywoodLife, he said, “It is an unique friendship. I have friends but this is a tale where friends are together for a lifetime. Bharat and Vilayti meet in childhood.” Sunil Grover reveals a rather interesting anecdote from the sets. As we know, Bharat has been shot in Malta, Abu Dhabi and Punjab. “When we were shooting in Punjab, I was flooded with requests from relatives who wanted a picture with Salman Bhai. I had to tell everyone that it was not possible. One of my relatives came on the sets and managed a picture with Salman. When he uploaded it on social media, I had to heard a lot from other members of my family,” he says.

Sunil also says that Salman Khan is a true mentor. “He is non-interfering but keeps a watch on you. He has suggestions. Salman Sir has improvised so many times on the sets. His comic flair is tremendous He has written quite a few lines for the film,” he says. Sunil confirms a small romantic track with Nora Fatehi in the film. Bharat directed by Ali Abbas Zafar also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni and Tabu. The film is releasing on Eid, June 5.
