Dancing On Ice partners Vanessa Bauer and Brendan Cole look extremely cosy as they train

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole was seen looking incredibly cosy with his Dancing On Ice skating partner Vanessa Bauer as they practiced their routine on the ice.

The duo have been training together for months, with both sharing various cute and funny videos of their partnership on social media.

In a series of images of the impressive performance, Vanessa, 25, regularly leaned in to the New Zealand skater, 45, during their romantic routine to James Arthur’s love ballad Say You Won’t Let Go.

The duo practiced their lifts over and over, and during other segments of the song Brendan pretended to be the lovestruck boyfriend begging Vanessa not to leave.

Brendan wore a long-sleeved white top and a pair of grey white-washed jeans for the session, pairing his casual look with a black scarf and matching skates.

Pro Vanessa opted for black workout leggings, a royal blue off-the-shoulder top tucked in at the waist, and her favourite camel-coloured skates.

She added some chic with a leopard-print headband and gold hoop earrings.

In one still, the ballroom dancer held onto the skater’s shoulders tenderly, while in another it appeared the pair were even leaning in for a kiss.

There was also a moment where the pair seemed to be pausing for breath from their routine and Brendan sidled over with his arm reached out to the brunette beauty.

Following their training session, which took place at Slough ice arena, Brendan was even seen kissing his scarf before giving it to Vanessa to take home with her.

The pair will debut their impressive skills on the ice this Sunday, January 16, when Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean and the rest of the stars return for another series.

Ever since they were paired up on the ITV competition for 2022, Vanessa and Brendan have become favourites with fans already.

A few months ago, Vanessa accidentally suffered an injury from her skating partner during a training session at the Alexandra Palace ice rink.

Yet even as they teased each other through Instagram stories Vanessa couldn't stop herself giggling away at Brendan's mishap, as the pair’s connection was palpable already.

Dancing On Ice returns Sunday, January 16 at 6pm on ITV.
