Dan Walker, 44, is a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing alongside his professional dancer partner Nadiya Bychkova, 32, as the pair hit the dancefloor on Saturday night. The BBC Breakfast host has now reached out to Katie McGlynn, 28, who has exited the show.
The former Coronation Street actress faced Judi Love in the dance-off last week after receiving the fewest public votes.
Unfortunately, one celebrity pairing had to depart the show after just three weeks of dance routines.
Following the judges’ votes, Katie and her professional dance partner Gorka Marquez said goodbye to the dancefloor.
The Strictly pair performed an American Smooth from the film Cruella for the Movie Week special.
Reacting to the sad news, Dan offered his well wishes to the Hollyoaks star before making a cheeky request.
Taking to Twitter, Katie admitted she was “gutted” to be leaving the BBC show.
In view of her 107,000 followers, the actress penned: “Thank you all so much for the support @bbcstrictly, it’s been an honour to be part of such an iconic show and to dance each week with the best partner @gorkamarquez.
“I’m really gutted that my time has come to an end so soon… but it’s been an absolute dream! #strictly.”
Dan admitted that he would “miss” the Hollyoaks star but added he wouldn’t mind pinching her wig.
“Well… I’m stealing your Cruella wig for next week so you can live on,” he joked, in view of his 726,000.
He added: “We will all miss you.”
Katie replied: “Aw thanks Dan! Going to miss you all so much.”

The Rochdale actress, who now plays Becky Quentin in Hollyoaks, shut down claims of a rift between herself and Gorka.
Speaking on the BBC spin-off show It Takes Two, Katie said she was “sad” to no longer be rehearsing together.
When asked about leaving the competition, Katie said: “We’re sad because it means we won’t be rehearsing together, it means our journey’s ended but we’re still going to stay friends.
“He lives in Manchester and I live in Manchester so we’ve already set up a dinner date so yeah, we’re going to catch up.
“We’ve got mutual friends so we’ll definitely stay in touch.”
Katie and Gorka’s Strictly journey came to an end as they were the second couple to be eliminated from the show.
She added: “The fact that we were in Movie Week playing Cruella Di Vil and Pongo was incredible.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday on BBC One at 7pm.
