Cuba Gooding Jr. honors John Singleton with ‘heartfelt’ speech

Cuba Gooding Jr. remembered his late “Boyz n the Hood” director John Singleton when he hosted the opening of Meatpacking District hot spot Marble with Anna Rothschild.

The star made a “heartfelt speech,” sources said, then introduced Jay-Z’s protege, Young Paris, who performed.

It was the latest Gooding tribute to Singleton: Page Six reported the star has also publicly honored the director at piano bar Marie’s Crisis and PH-D at the Dream Downtown.

Dorinda Medley, Candace Bushnell, Angela Simmons, Joe Gorga, Wayne Gallman, Evan Sacks and Dr. Sam Von Reiche were also on the scene.
